Overview
Bellrise does not require an account. Bellrise does not collect, sell, track, or share personal data. Bellrise does not use ads, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, third-party crash reporting, newsletter signup, or contact forms.
Bellrise stores app data locally on your device using Apple storage. This local data is used only to provide alarm, nap, schedule, settings, and app experience features.
Data Stored On Device
Bellrise may store the following data locally on your device:
- Alarm plans and wake-up deadline settings
- Repeat schedules and backup alarm sequences
- Temporary schedule changes, such as skip tomorrow and one-day time changes
- Active nap state
- Alarm sound preferences
- Onboarding completion state
- App review prompt counters
The Bellrise app and Bellrise widget share local state through the App Group group.com.markojovanov.Bellrise so app, widget, Live Activity, Dynamic Island, and intent features can work together.
Apple System Permissions And Services
Bellrise uses Apple system services only to provide app functionality:
- AlarmKit permission is used to schedule alarms and naps.
- Notification permission is used for temporary schedule reminders.
- Live Activities and Dynamic Island presentation are used to show active alarm or nap information.
- AppIntents are used for alarm and nap actions such as I'm Up, Need Backup, Repeat Nap, and Stop Nap.
- StoreKit review prompts are used to ask for an App Store review after eligible in-app activity.
Bellrise does not use these services to track you across apps or websites.
Data Sharing
Bellrise does not sell personal data. Bellrise does not share personal data with advertisers, analytics providers, tracking networks, or third-party crash reporting services.
Because Bellrise currently does not collect personal data from the app, there is no Bellrise server account data to access, export, or delete.
Deleting Data
You can delete local Bellrise data by deleting the Bellrise app from your device. iOS controls may also let you manage system permissions such as alarms and notifications from the Settings app.
Changes To This Policy
This policy should be updated if Bellrise adds accounts, networking, analytics, cloud sync, subscriptions, support forms, crash reporting, or any other feature that changes how data is collected, used, shared, or retained.
